if my daughter doesnt get this medicine she wont see another summer

Ive seen this charade its the same old song and dance

The clock struck twelve when the shot was heard
cut through the air like a singing bird
when the silence finally broke
the shootout was on

its a cold june night and the mans long gone
the sun has set but the night is young
and the only sign of a conflict
is 18 dead bodies
